BALANCE DE HIERRO

SP / Una pieza donde el equilibrio solo es posible cuando ambos lados se sostienen mutuamente. El equilibrio se vuelve necesario no solo como concepto, sino como estructura: un lado eleva al otro. Sin ese peso compartido, todo pierde forma.

El hierro, un material que no puede simplemente pegarse, exige ser soldado. Pero esta obra nace del intento de resistir esa imposición.

Al trabajar con hierro, pintar los componentes por separado no es práctico: una vez soldados, el calor daña la pintura. Por eso se diseñó una solución estructural, una que permite que cada elemento se mantenga en equilibrio, sostenido únicamente por los otros.

Este proyecto, y la búsqueda continua del equilibrio perfecto que permita que la pieza se sostenga sin soldaduras ni adhesivos, aún está en proceso. El objetivo es preservar el acabado y los colores originales de la obra (Resonancia Interna) sin compromisos.

Esta pieza en particular es una demostración simple—un primer paso en el proceso de aprendizaje hacia la creación de una escultura que no requiera más que su propio peso para mantenerse unida y revelar todas sus capas.

Así como un ser humano debe aprender a vivir en paz consigo mismo—plenamente consciente de todas sus capas internas—sin depender de fuerzas externas para encontrar estabilidad.

EN / "Iron Balance" A piece where balance is only possible when both sides support each other. Balance becomes necessary not just as a concept, but as a structure: one side lifts the other. Without that shared weight, everything loses form.

Iron, a material that cannot simply be glued, demands to be welded. But this work is born from the attempt to resist that imposition.

When working with iron, painting the individual components beforehand is not practical—once welded, the heat damages the paint. That’s why a structural solution was designed: one that allows each element to remain in balance, supported solely by the others.

This project, and the ongoing search for the perfect equilibrium that would allow the piece to stand without welding or adhesives, is still in progress. The goal is to preserve the original finish and colors of the work (Internal Resonance) without compromise.

This particular piece is a simple demonstration—an early step in the learning process toward creating a sculpture that requires nothing more than its own weight to hold itself together and reveal all its layers.

Just as a human being must learn to live in peace with oneself—fully aware of all inner layers—without depending on external forces for stability
